Daniel Raynott was born in 1962 in France. A self-taught artist, he started painting at a very early age and visited museums around the world. These experiences became the basis of his learning how to paint. Daniel currently lives and paints in Ireland.
As a graphic designer in the 1980's, Raynott collaborated with various French magazines. His paintings are executed with graphic precision; very clean, bright and full of color. His frequent stays in California since the 90's are the origin of his inspiration.
"California has often been admired, sung and dreamed of. Its sun, beaches and special light convey a sweetness of life". Raynott's canvases portray California dream villas with sleek modern architecture and often include swimming pools sparking with transparency.
Raynott offers us a sunny journey with each of his paintings. His paintings convey the warmth of a Palm Springs lush oasis, the freshness of San Francisco and the panoramic views of the Pacific in Malibu or Santa Monica. Daniel Raynott pays homage to a land of creativity and optimism.
Raynott's paintings are included private collections in the US, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and Dubai.
