ART FRONCKOWIAK

Biographical Information for Art Fronkowiac

Art Fronkowiac died in 2009. His many wonderful paintings adorn the homes of private and corporate collectors all over the world. He is known for his beautiful and romantic architectural landscapes. His passing at such an early age robs the world of his future creative and incredibly accomplished work, and left his family and many friends and collectors saddened. His memory lives on in his paintings which continue to bring much joy to so many people.

With a history of commissioned work for corporate and private collectors, Art Fronckowiak brought a wide range of subject matters and painting styles to the contemporary canvas. His "first love" however, lied in the rich values of the traditional romantic landscape and all of his works reflect a special attention to the play of light and shadows across the canvas. His floral architectures evoke quietness, a sense of peacefulness, "a place you want to walk into."

Fronckowiak's palette and technique are reminiscent of an "old world" blend of light, color and composition characteristics of the classical works of our past. His canvases reflect that quiet timelessness translated through the modern medium of acrylic oils developed to museum quality standards.

Self-educated in his craft, from the earliest years, from childhood drawings on wallpaper scraps, painting was a part of Fronckowiak's life. His art speaks to a discipline of ages gone by and reflects his love for a bygone era and its artistic legacy.
